Position Title: Special Events Supervisor
Job Grade: GG14
Job summary:
Accountable for planning, organizing, managing and controlling the Distributor Special Events.
Responsibilities:
- Increase Distributors’ motivational level and number of Qualifiers for incentive trips and to market the travel opportunity to all.
- Conceptualize, plan, organize and execute major company incentive travel program, eg. Leadership Seminar, Local Working Diamond Forum, Diamond Invitational etc.
- To aggressively promote major company incentive travel program, eg. New Platinum Seminar, Leadership Seminar, Diamond Invitational etc. through various media and channels.
- Continuously explore in to new ways of achieving the best excitement levels.
- Negotiate with vendors to get the best deals
- Successful and impactful National Conventions, New SP and Regional Achievers Recognition Programs.
- Conceptualize, plan, orchestrate, organize and execute programs for these events. Coordinate all activities related to these.
- Provide a leadership role for the various teams working towards a common objective.
- Professionally executed and well-coordinated company functions.
- Play an active role to orchestrate and organize company sponsored functions. e.g. HCP Conventions, DSAP events, etc.
- Support other department/division-plan, coordinate and execute company related events.
- Support sales in the execution of IBO sales rallies and expos
- Manage resources to be able to work within budgets for all events.
- Track and manage budgets and achieve KPIs for all events
- Human Relations
- Ensures sound working relationships with Amway personnel in Ada, the region, other Amway affiliated companies, suppliers/vendors, convention centers and other venues, F&B companies, competitors, consultants, advertising and public relations agencies, trade/ manufacturing associations and the like.
- Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Assume other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed, including, but not limited to, assignments involving assistance to other Amway affiliates or subsidiaries
Education
- Bachelors degree major in any business-related courses.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
1. Must have 3-5 years work experience in leading or managing special events
2. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
3. Budget management skills and proficiency
4. Highly organized, creative with strong analytical skills
5. Must be willing to travel
6. Extraordinary planning skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work in addition to managing workload for a team to meet deadlines and multiple requests
7.Familiarity and experience with marketing terms and trends
8. Detailed oriented, results driven, proactive, collaborative and a team player
Compensation and Benefits:
1. Competitive salary from P25 to midpoint depends on experience and level of competencies.

Work location: Makati City, Philippines
Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 9AM-6PM (superfexi applies to probationary employees while work from home / hybrid work arrangement is given upon regularization)
